One day, Jeremy goes to the beach to build a sandcastle and winds up befriending Pirate Braid Beard and becoming a pirate. He learns how to sing sea chanteys, say pirate stuff like “landlubber” and “scurvy dog,” and even eat like a pirate. Pirates pound their firsts on the table and shout, “Down the hatch, me laddies!” gulp down their food, and talk with their mouths full.
